How this works
Writing an entry
Tap the step you're on. It turns black to show it's chosen. Tap it again if you change your mind. Write your thoughts and your feelings, then tap Save entry. The date and time are added for you.
Choosing a step is not required. You can save an entry with only thoughts, only feelings, or only a step. You can write as many entries in a day as you like.
An example
Say you tap Honesty, then write:
Thoughts: Kept replaying the meeting. Realized I was blaming everyone but me.
Feelings: Uneasy this morning, lighter by evening.
After you tap Save entry, it appears in your journal under today's date:
7:42 AMHonesty
Thoughts: Kept replaying the meeting. Realized I was blaming everyone but me.
Feelings: Uneasy this morning, lighter by evening.
Reading back
Your journal lists every entry by date, newest first. The Show list above your journal lets you see only the entries for one step. Choose All steps to see everything again. It only changes what you see. Nothing is changed or removed.
Deleting an entry
Each entry has a Delete link. You'll be asked to confirm first, because a deleted entry can't be brought back unless it's in a journal file you downloaded earlier.
Where your journal is kept
Only in this browser, on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere, and no one else, including Axiom Products, can see it. Another browser or another device will have its own separate journal.
Keeping a copy
Clearing your browser's data erases your journal, and some phones clear it on their own if you haven't visited in a while. Download saves your whole journal as a file on your device. Import brings that file back, for example on a new phone. Downloading now and then keeps you from losing anything. Under your journal you'll see when you last downloaded a copy.
Importing adds entries from the file to your journal. Entries you already have are skipped, so nothing is doubled up and nothing you've written is replaced.
Opening it like an app
On iPhone, tap Share in Safari, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, tap the menu in Chrome, then Add to Home screen.
