Interpretation

Jesus spoke Aramaic and the Aramaic word for prayer is slotha which literally means “to set a trap”. The Lord’s Prayer is Jesus’s trap for God. Jesus is commonly known as the “Lord of Love” and love is the highest state of consciousness. Much like Albert Einstein reduced his theory of relativity to a simple formula, Jesus has done the same with the Lord’s Prayer. It has a much deeper meaning than it first appears.

The Lord’s Prayer is the Jesus Christ system reduced to its essence, it is a systematic approach to move from a lower consciousness (earth) to a higher spiritual consciousness (heaven).

Each step is moving us higher in consciousness until we reach spiritual awareness. The overall purpose of these seven steps is transformation rather than salvation. The Bible is not about salvation. It is a system of transformation. The Bible is about you and me becoming transformed (Romans 12:2). It is about transcending our normalcy, our present human condition so, with God’s help, we can live life to the fullest.
